A story featuring Tarkett’s circular-designed products, alongside responsible fashion and ethical beauty brands, was showcased in the December issue of Design Anthology UK. Inspired by Tarkett’s playful and sustainable flooring, Design Anthology, the design and architecture magazine, combined the worlds of interior design and beauty under the umbrella of sustainability and proved that an artistic approach and an environmental ethos can co-exist and spark creativity. The story showcased beautiful portraits of women alongside geometrical shapes covered with Tarkett’s circular-design products including iQ products, Excellence, Linoleum and carpet tiles. The artistic collaboration provided the ground for Tarkett’s circular designs to be re-introduced in a distinct way.
Tarkett is the only manufacturer to master circular design for multiple types of flooring, from carpet tiles to vinyl and linoleum. “There is an urgent need to move away from a take-make-dispose model, towards a circular economy in which products can be recycled to create new products at the end of their use” was highlighted by Tarkett’s EMEA Design Director, Florian Bougault in an interview alongside the photoshoot feature. “Our vision is for all of our flooring to be recyclable and recycled without any comprise on the beauty of the floors“— Florian Bougault.
Design Anthology UK is a triannual print magazine spotlighting the best of design, architecture, art, travel and style across Europe and sets a new standard for premium design and lifestyle titles in the UK.
